Free Spaces

Apart from the usual working spaces — the CIP-Pool and Z613 — the Freiraum tool of the Student Representation offers an overview of all available rooms throughout the university and its library to sit down and get some work done.

Additionally, the KIM offers a website with approximate figures on the current utilization of workstations at the library. Those are estimated based on the number of devices connected to the network.

Studies and Exams

ZEuS

is used to apply for courses, create timetables, register for exams, and all kinds of other study-related matters. A TAN is required to register for exams. TAN lists can be generated online with the initial TANs or printed out at the SSZ.

ILIAS

Many courses use the ILIAS system to manage exercises and course-related learning content, such as lecture notes.

Mock Exams

On the university cloud, you will find a small collection of mock and past exams from previous semesters, which have been kindly provided to us by the respective lecturers. These are intended to help you get an idea of what an exam in a particular subject might look like and can also be helpful in preparing for your own exams. If your main subject is Computer Science you probably already see it as a folder called “Probeklausuren” when you login into your university cloud account.
